Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Tuscumbia, AL

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Tuscumbia, AL that is right for you.

Free Rehab Centers in Nearby Cities

Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Restoration Ranch For Substance Abuse Treatment website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $14,580
2 $19,720
3 $24,860
4 $30,000
5 $35,140
6 $40,280
7 $45,420
8 $50,560

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Would you go speak and convince my nephew that he needs this help? He’s 32 yrs old and lives with my elderly parents. He drinks and smokes their social security checks. He doesn’t work because he says he has no way to get to work... and he’s severely depressed from years of drinking his problems away.. My parents are being drained emotionally, financially and physically trying to help encourage him on a daily basis but things are not much better today than they were 10 years ago. Actually, worse! My dad suffered a heart attack and now has minimum use of his legs due to poor circulation. He has a pacemaker to help regulate his heart and he’s 83 praying for a miracle & hope that his grandson get on with his life! I’ve tried to get him out and find help for him but he’s set on the pity party he has about why he can’t move on. If you can help Please call me for their address. Thank you & May God send help For my parents & nephew before it’s too late. I don’t know what else to do. Rachel rae.ruiz22@gmail.com

I KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS NO MONEY AND A ADDITION TO DRUGS. I FEEL LIKE HE NEEDS A FACILITY THAT IS FAITH BASED. SO HE CAN ALSO LEARN ABOUT THE LORD. THE OTHER REHABS ARE NOT INCLUDING THE HELP OF GOD WITH PROFESSIONALS. I WAS BLESSED NOT TO HAVE TO SEEK TREATMENT GOD HEALED ME. THATS WITH PRAYER EVERY DAY AND HIS WORD AND BEING AROUND GOOD FAITH PEOPLE AROUND ME. SALVATION IS A LIVE STYLE AND WHEN YOU HAVE A BONDAGE YOU ARE OVDERCOMMIMNG ,YOU HAVE TO BE DEPENDANT ON GOD. BECAUSE WE CAN DO ALL.... THINGS WITH HIM. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM GET SAVED AND HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR LORD. TO KNOW HIS LOVE HE HAS FOR EACH OF US.IF HE GETS THIS HELP GOD WILL SHOW HIM THINGS HE COULD NOT EVEN COMPARE TO THAT OLD LIFE. I KNOW HE LEADS ME BY THE HOLY SPIRIT DAILY.

She has stated to me she need long term help, she cant do this on her on. She is homeless living in her car when not in jail and we are raising her two boys 6 & 3. She talks to them on reg basis and states she wants them back but that wont and cant happen until she gets the long term helps she needs.
