Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Beaumont, TX

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Beaumont, TX that is right for you.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $14,580
2 $19,720
3 $24,860
4 $30,000
5 $35,140

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Our 20 year old son is in desperate need of an inpatient treatment facility. He is currently addicted to methamphetamine and kush. He has become a danger to himself as well as those who love and care about him. He has become violent and has destroyed many of our belongings. He has almost set his grandparents house on fire twice. We don't know what else to do at this point. We can't afford to pay for his treatment as we are waiting on approval for food benefits for us as well as our 9 year old son.

My son needs help. He is 37 years old and has a serious alcohol problem which he acknowledges. He had a steady job until 14 months ago. He has only worked a few weeks this last fall. He has tried to quit but, after four days the pain of withdrawal drove him to drink again. He has never been to rehab and is reluctant to do so, for lack of funds (I think). he has no insurance. He has had a serious problem for the last 17 years. What steps can I take to get him into a program. I am very limited financially as Social Security is my only income. Any help or advise would be appriciated. Thank you, David Kent

I thought I could get clean on my own and boy was I foolish for thinking that?!... I'm addicted to crack cocaine. I have isolated myself almost completely. I can't do this alone. I surrender to someone who can help me.
