About Highland/Clarksburg Hospital

Highland Clarksburg Hospital is pleased to offer acute inpatient psychiatric services for adults needing comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment.
Treatment is provided in a smoke-free secure, closely supervised, and structured environment.
This program is designed to provide intensive short-term treatment for adults leading to stabilization of current psychiatric illnesses.
Both voluntary and involuntary admissions (mental hygiene commitments) are accepted.


Goal 
To provide a multidisciplinary treatment approach to assist the individual in returning to a productive family, work, and community life.

Treatment will include a thorough
psychiatric evaluation; history and physical; nursing assessment; psycho-social assessment; therapy; group programming; recreation therapy; medication evaluation and adjustments.
