The purpose of the St. Jude Catholic Church Catholic Alcoholism and Addictions Ministry (CAAM) is to:
Provide an organization for the alcoholic, addict and their families and friends to come and learn more about the disease from parishioners who are in recovery.
Serve, when requested by Parish staff, as immediate contacts for sufferers of these diseases and their family, friends and associates.
Increase Parish awareness of the disease nature of alcoholism and addiction, through literature and sponsorship of forums, as well as through visible assistance and aid to those suffering with alcoholism or addiction and their family, friends, and associates.
St. Jude sponsors a weekly meeting for interested parties every Saturday at 9:15 am in the Formation Room (PC401). The meeting is for those who feel they, or someone they know, may have an alcohol or addiction problem. This is an "open" meeting (meaning anyone can attend), but where anonymity of those attending is honored. Its purpose is to guide those who suffer from alcoholism or addiction, and their family and friends, toward recovery.

Is this treatment center really free?
Most of the listings on this website are free; however, we decided it would also be helpful for our visitors to see sliding scale treatment centers and low cost rehab centers for low income persons.
