About Turn About of Tallahassee
Turn About offers weekly outpatient counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide variety of problems including but not limited to substance abuse, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, anger, and family issues.
Evaluation/ assessment services are also available.
Services are based on a sliding fee scale.
Intensive Outpatient Program:
- Turn About's Intensive Outpatient Program is a minimum 21-week program, with a built-in aftercare component for children aged 11-13 (Middle School IOP) and adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 (High School IOP) who are experiencing behavioral and/or substance abuse problems.
- The programs meet every day after school at Turn About for approximately 3 hours, during which time youth participate in individual, family and group counseling.
- Doctoral and Masters level counselors work closely with the young person and his or her family to prevent or eliminate adolescent substance abuse, improve self-esteem, create effective discipline, and improve family communication.
- Services are available on a sliding fee scale.
