Welcome to the ALTR website. They are a medication assisted outpatient treatment clinic for opioid dependency. ALTR has been serving the needs of opioid dependent patients of central Mississippi since April of 2005. They are licensed by the State of Mississippi and accredited by CARF. This site is intended to provide information for their current patients, as well as any guests interested in learning more about the disease of opioid dependency and the treatment options available through this clinic.

Unfortunately due to my horrible addiction I no longer work. I have been battling this for 2 years now and have tried cold Turkey but have been unsuccessful in my attempts. As of now any kind of help offered would greatly be appreciated as it Is so badly needed!

I am homeless staying in my car. I need help away from the street so I can get help and get off the drugs and get my GED and a good job so I can get my own place away from the streets!

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.

Medicaid Payment Assistance Medicaid often covers payment for alcohol and drug treatment. Medicaid coverage do differ by State. We provide recovery centers and programs that do accept Medicaid as payment for treatment.
