Free Rehab Centers in Nearby Cities

Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Behavioral Health Services of Carson website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2024

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $15,060
2 $20,440
3 $25,820
4 $31,200
5 $36,580
6 $41,960
7 $47,340
8 $52,720

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Hi. I’m writing on behalf of my brother. I just found out he started using heroin. He has been on and off meth for under 10yrs. He used to work and ‘functioned’, but since using heroin he has lost his job and his life is falling apart. He’s never been in a program, in or outpatient, so I’m not sure which would be more beneficial. He doesn’t have a job or insurance, so a non profit would be the only way for him to get help. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and speedy reply

Good Morning, I am writing in regards to my Mom, who has a serious drinking problem that has never been worse. She just came up here from California and I am wanting to get her into rehab for the sake of her health and life, my kids, and myself. We all want to see her get better. I can get the paperwork to get her Medicaid, do you accept that insurance? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
