About Casa De Las Amigas Pasadena
There is a cost for service, but Casa de Las Amigas does not discriminate and  will not deny services on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national  origin, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability or the inability to  pay. 
Participants are 18 years of age or older or emancipated minors.
 Payment Assistance Available: 
Sliding fee scale (fee is based on income and other factors); Payment assistance (check with facility for details)The agency provides substance abuse services for women age 18 and older  who live in Los Angeles County. 
Services include alcohol and drug abuse  education and prevention, and comprehensive outpatient alcoholism  treatment .
 There are no geographic restrictions. 
The alcohol and drug abuse education and prevention provides  educational and family groups for women with alcohol and drug  addictions.
 The groups deal with topics such as anger issues, custody  issues, dual-diagnosis, legal issues, parenting issues and self-esteem  issues. 
There are videos and workbooks for the group sessions.
 Individual counseling is provided. 
Individuals can be court ordered or  Prop. 36, have dual-diagnosis or reside in a shelter.
Their onsite,  sub-acute, 24-hour Detoxification Facility offers a safe environment in which women  seeking addiction recovery services may first undergo withdrawal from drugs  and/or alcohol.
 The detoxification  process is the first critical step in preparing participants for a smooth  transition into their residential treatment program or, if suitable, outpatient  treatment, and for establishing a personal program of long term sobriety based  on 12-step philosophy. 
Casa de las Amigas' Residential Treatment Program is a voluntary 30, 60, and 90 day  intensive program with continuum of care options for 6 months and one-year  transitional treatment through their sober living program.
