About Gulf Coast Center
The Gulf Coast Center is one of thirty-nine community centers in the state of Texas providing services, programs and employment assistance for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental illness, HIV or needing substance abuse recovery services. Programs and services offered by the Gulf Coast Center have made progress toward enabling and empowering individuals and their families to live quality livesThis program provides a three hour education and group counseling session once a week, with individual counseling a minimum of once per month. In addition to the scheduled sessions, other services can be provided by substance abuse staff as determined by individual client need and their treatment plan.
