*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

I am trying to help a friend who is incarcerated in Richmond County, Augusta, GA. She has been arraigned and charged several counts of violence against children and a couple other charges. But she admitted to her public defender and I that she has been smoking ICE and marijuana. She has 3 children and is due any day now with her 4th. The oldest was livng with my friend's mother (girl age 12). The other 2 are a girl age 3 and a boy age 2. The youngest 2 are the children in question in the charges. The young lady is 28. She wants a program close to home, but she doesn't have access to her driver's license or social security card at this time. She needs to get a new copy of both. She does have Medicaid and on SSI.
