About Parish of Ascension Counseling Center

Ascension Counseling Center is a parish agency that provides outpatient and mental health and substance abuse treatment to Ascension residents.
Offices are located in Gonzales and Donaldsonville.
The professional staff includes psychiatrists, master's level mental health counselors, substance abuse counselors, and a nurse.



Treatment Groups:
Evaluation & Treatment, Smoking Cessation, Community Referral, Intensive Outpatient (6 Weeks), Outpatient Therapy (16 Weeks), Continued Care/Relapse Prevention, Substance Abuse Education/Prevention

HOURS:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Payment is on a sliding fee scale based on income and other factors, also accepted is cash, self-payment, medicaid, state financed health insurance plans other than medicaid, and private health insurance.
