About Benilde Hall Program
Benilde Hall Mission:
To serve the homeless, veterans, and other individuals with housing, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, jobs program, health education, food, clothing, case management, and an opportunity to reconnect to the community. The men in the transitional living program are housed in a converted hospital.
Rooms are arranged dorm-style and are shared between residents.
The facility also includes a kitchen, dining hall, therapy rooms, a lecture hall and office spaces.
Clients get three meals a day prepared by an on-site chef, though clients are required to help participate in meal clean up.
Special dietary requests can usually be accommodated.
The permanent housing program is offered through Matt Talbot apartments.
Located across the street from the main facility, the building offers furnished units. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside of the homes.
