Residential Services at Catawba Valley Behavioral Healthcare includes:Â Â Â
Four group homes serving adults with developmental disabilities;Â Â Â
One group home serving adults with mental illness;Â Â Â
Thirty-six supervised apartment units serving adults with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own communities

Their group homes are located in Conover, Hickory and Maiden. Â Â Â Their supervised apartments are located in Newton. Â Â Â Their housing Unit serves adults throughout Catawba County.
Outpatient treatment services at Catawba valley behavioral healthcare include:Â Â Â
assertive outreach and screening   psychological testing   assessment   psychiatric evaluation   medication management   individual, group and family therapy
Outpatient Services Staff include;
registered nurses, physician extenders,licensed clinical social workers, doctoral and master's level psychologists and board certified psychiatrists.
