About Camillus House Life Center

Camillus House & Health has provided substance abuse treatment services to individuals who are addicted and homeless since 1988.What began as an informal self-help group has evolved into a professionally staffed and licensed co-occurring disorders treatment program, designed to meet the multiple, changing needs of a culturally diverse population.The program, now called the Institute of Success and Personal Achievement (ISPA), was formally licensed in 1997, and is now licensed for Outpatient, Day/Night, Residential Levels II and IV. Sliding Scale Fee Approved Program.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.

Medicaid Payment Assistance Medicaid often covers payment for alcohol and drug treatment. Medicaid coverage do differ by State. We provide recovery centers and programs that do accept Medicaid as payment for treatment.
