About Volunteers of America Mid-States Freedom House Louisville
Freedom House is a residential treatment program for pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorders. They accept women at any stage of pregnancy and allow all children under 18 years old to stay with mom at the facility. There is no limit on the number of children you can bring.
Clients participate in individual, group, and family therapy and life skills programming, including soft skills for employment, parenting classes, budgeting sessions, and more.
On average, it takes 3-4 months to complete the program.
Freedom House allow all forms of medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
There is no out-of-pocket cost for individuals with Kentucky Medicaid.
They offer same-day, evening, and weekend admissions and can help with transportation from anywhere in Kentucky.
