Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Heartview Foundation website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2022

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $12,880
2 $17,420
3 $21,960
4 $26,500
5 $31,040
6 $35,580
7 $40,120
8 $44,660

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Is there any way to get help for my son , who I believe is totally and completely involved in the drug scene in Bismarck ? I am fearful for his life and his welfare- I believe he is under the influence of a very deadly and volatile drug, and is also involved with some deadly and volatile individuals who are solicitating these drugs ? He needs help and I do not know how to help him or where to turn for help. He has lost 4 children to CPS , been locked up and released and is once again on the road to self destruction. He is 33 years old and I am afraid he will not make another birthday without some type of intervention.

I am looking for some help for my son. He is 30 years old. He has been in state hospital a couple times. He has been being medicated for bipolar. Which i am not sure if that is what he has. Doesnt take his meds half the time. His wife left him and took their son. Between the drugs, no job, his anger managment problem. I am getting scared that he will hurt me or his grandma. Henhas already tried suicide before.
