About Amethyst House Bloomington
Amethyst House has a variety of outpatient programs available to address substance abuse and problem gambling issues.
Clients need to be clean and sober for a minimum two weeks before starting treatment and maintain abstinence while in the program.
They are an abstinence based program. Clients are expected to become involved with Twelve Step recovery programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
Their program also provides support and treatment for family members.
Their fees are affordable and based on a sliding fee scale.
Services are free of charge for clients addressing a problem gambling problem (per State grant guidelines).
They are currently accepting Anthem and MDwise Medicaid and HIP plans, as well as Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cook Medical, Encore Health Network, SIHO Insurance Services, and Value Options.
