About Nuestra Casa Recovery Home Inpatient Alcohol Treatment Home

12 bed capacity. Program is licensed and certified by the State of California to provide both alcohol and drug abuse treatment. Certified in the Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) program.

Program Description
Residential program
Structured Spanish speaking specific program
Individual recovery and treatment planning
Individual and group counseling
Substance Abuse Education
Counseling and education for significant others
Recreational activities include: physical fitness, resocialization, gardening, reading, and sharing.
Stress management-relapse prevention
Discharge planning
Information and referral
Fees based on ability to pay
(sliding fee scale).


24 Week Aftercare
Weekly groups that focus on relapse prevention
Alumni/Self-Help groups strongly encouraged.


Target Population
Adult Spanish speaking males at risk for alcohol/other drug abuse. We do not discriminate in the delivery of services due to race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or ability to pay for services.

Services
Assessments/intakes, information and referral services and outpatient substance abuse treatment for participants and their families/significant others.


Admission Criteria
Admission is voluntary and it is recommended that beneficiaries be alcohol and drug free for 24 hours prior.
Clients must be ambulatory.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be Spanish speaking.
Primary problem is substance abuse.
Must be willing to accept program rules prior to admission.
No history of excessive violence indicated.
Physical or psychiatric disabilities, if present, will not prevent the client from participation in the program structure.
Pending legal problems, if present, are of such a nature as to not prevent the clients
participation in treatment.
Any beneficiaries with ongoing involvment in the criminal justice system are encouraged (though not required) to stay in contact with their attorney, probation officer, parole agent or other relevant legal entity while participanting in the program.
