About The Child, Adolescent and Family Recovery Center
Their IOP is designed to help adolescents, young adults, and their parents address maladaptive, self-destructive behaviors, utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as incorporating a number of other treatment modalities.
They believe quality, comprehensive care encompasses research driven treatment with collaboration, compassion, and empathy.
DBT skills groups meet weekly and are didactic in nature.
They help clients learn the five DBT skills and work on how to implement these skills into every day life.
The five dbt skills are mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and walking the middle path.
Enrollment in these groups is open.
Clients that attend their DBT skills group are also strongly encouraged to be in individual therapy as well.
