About Family Life Center

Family Life Center fights substance abuse, mental and emotional problems through quality counseling services and drug testing.
The intensive outpatient program at Family Life Center is a seven month state certified outpatient substance abuse treatment program for individuals suffering from dependence to a mood altering substance. 
The program is built upon the 12 step model of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
Family Life Center has 8 locations.
These locations are in Gadsden, Guntersville, Scottsboro, Decatur, Athens, Centre and 2 locations in Fort Payne offering services in DeKalb, Etowah, Jackson, Cherokee, Limestone, Morgan and Marshall counties.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
