These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.
When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
Hello, if my insurance is not able to cover treatment 'medi-cal'. Is there anyway that I could be assessed for a scholarship or a payment plan. I would love to meet with the program that you find face to face to emphasize my need and to tell my story. I have currently made a tremendous amount of improvement and would highly wish to retain what I've gained in that effort. I have yet more to reveal. Now is a perfect time for myself. At 41 I'm a student & employee of a community College in Orange County, CA. I just finished my finals last week. So now is the perfect time for me to work on myself and enter a treatment facility. I could enter tomorrow. I do know now that I need help. Thanks, Laura
