About Catholic Charities Services Midtown Youth Chemical Dependency

They provide assessment and counseling services for persons experiencing a substance abuse problem.
The goal of the program is to complete a substance abuse assessment and determine the appropriate path to treatment.
The substance abuse program has a sliding scale fee based on income and other factors.

I started noticing symptoms from my son at 21 of paranoid schizophrenia. He told me the feds are following him and they were bugging my apartment and they were putting things down to let him know they were watching him. I found out he was using methamphetamines chronically by IV use. My question is can chronic methamphetamine use via IV can it cause paranoid schizophrenia permanently? My son was 30 days at my house not using and just sleeping when after 30 days I asked him were the FEDS still following him. He told me yes he knows what he saw he's not crazy cuz everyone's calling him crazy. My second question is can paranoid schizophrenia symptoms be aused by meth or does he have an underlying illness undiagnosed? He's never seen a doctor. How long does the drug take to wear off before I can tell if he's got an underlying illness or if the symptoms are caused by chronic meth use and if caused by chronic meth use is it permanent?
