Services include:

  • drug/alcohol testing
  • comprehensive outpatient alcohol abuse treatment
  • comprehensive outpatient drug abuse treatment for court-referred individuals and for adolescents
  • a sober living center
  • substance abuse education and prevention

There are no geographic restrictions.

The drug/alcohol testing and the substance abuse education and prevention programs are outpatient programs.

Drug and/or alcohol testing is available for anyone who walks in.

The agency is a State certified treatment center for youth, age 12 to 20, in the CA State CARE program.

The program provides a general substance abuse education and prevention program as well as a youth program which targets youth 12 years to 18 years.

Both programs contain similar topics and structure, but the youth program focuses on youth issues.

Substance abuse education and prevention is discussed in group sessions as well as family dynamics, anger management, HIV/AIDS education, adult perinatal issues, stress management and life balance skills.

The groups are led by a licensed counselor and meet 4 times per week followed by a one-on-one session on the 5th day.

The sober living centers are chemical-free houses for adults 18 years and older.

For the first 30 days there is a curfew and a mandatory meeting per day.

Residents are required to sign-in/sign-out, attend two mandatory house meetings daily and observe all house rules.

However, these conditions may be more lenient after the initial 30 days.

The program recommends a 6 month stay but residents are not required to stay for any set amount of time.

Referrals to outpatient programs are provided and based on individual need.

The program also operates parolee and Proposition 36 programs that provide services to parolees and offenders as an alternative to incarceration.
