Their counselors can address the general issues that cause stress and trauma for todays individuals, children and families related to: parent/child issues, relationship problems, divorce and remarriage, domestic abuse, compulsive gambling, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and general stress. The number of sessions spent with a counselor is often as few as one to three visits, and the average length of counseling is three months.
