About The Center for Balanced Living

The Center for Balanced Living offers outpatient, intensive outpatient, day treatment and 5-Day treatment levels of care.
If residential or inpatient care is needed, they will provide appropriate referrals.
Provides evidence-based treatment, integrating education about the brain-basis of the illness, experiential tools, family/supports and movement into all of their programs.

Payment:
Accepts most insurance plans. Accepts Medicare for outpatient services only (excludes IOP, PHP and 5 Day) Does not accept Medicaid. The Center maintains a sliding fee scale of up to 40% off based on proof of income; if you are concerned about paying for treatment, please contact them for more information.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.
