I was abused and in an accident. I have need diagnosed with PTSD. I drink to numb the pain.
I was abused by my parents beginning around age 12. After years of this, I eventually developed PTSD. I’ve used opioids to numb everything & try to make me feel at least some sort of happiness. I use the pills when I wake up from a flashback, first thing in the morning, and all throughout the day. I just want to be free of opioids and try my hardest to become happy through dealing with everything
Have you ever had free rehab before? How did you get in to the program?
Do they accept ex felons?
Yes
Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Roxbury website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.
Persons In Family Household | Poverty Guideline Salary per year |
---|---|
1 | $15,060 |
2 | $20,440 |
3 | $25,820 |
4 | $31,200 |
5 | $36,580 |

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.
When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
