About Genesis Counseling Centers

Genesis Counseling Center is a private, non-profit agency offering mental health and drug and alcohol counseling programs for all ages.

We proudly offer mental health services throughout Southern New Jersey at our three offices in Collingswood, Camden, and Marlton.

We offer individual and group counseling settings, tailored to your needs. We also have programs to specifically address child, adolescent, and teen mental health, as well as couples and marriage counseling.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.

Medicaid Payment Assistance Medicaid often covers payment for alcohol and drug treatment. Medicaid coverage do differ by State. We provide recovery centers and programs that do accept Medicaid as payment for treatment.
