About Northshore Youth and Family Services

Northshore Youth and Family Services provides Outpatient substance use program is designed for adolescents, age 21 and under, along with their families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives related to substance abuse.
Urinalysis testing is done with the initial assessment and throughout treatment.


Services available:
Assessments and referrals Individual and family treatment Treatment and sober support groups


Services: Mix of mental health and substance abuse services

Fees: Sliding fee scale. Call for rates and qualifications.

Insurances: Self payment, Medicaid, State financed insurance (other than Medicaid), Private health insurance, Military insurance (e.g., VA,TRICARE)

When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.
