yes, i went to The Sequoia Center about 5 years ago. I absolutely loved it, I had a great experience there and on top of the 90 days of sobrieity I attained in the inpatient treatment center there, I got out, went to a SLE and gained another 9 months of recovery before losing my bed at the SLE and relapsing on the streets.

My son jas had 2 dui's within a 4 month period. Both resulting in accidents He hasmy driven lately but was doing so with my 2 grandsons. He often speaks of suicide and is always depressed . He drinks daily and has no job or motivations. Hr is 36 yrs old amd has nothing going for him and sees his boys as often as hencan but when he has them he is usually intoxicated. My son is 33yr w alchohol addiction since his early 20s sober off and on, needs medical detox he now has DTs and shakes when trying to quit, has recently stated he’s done w alcohol it’s ruining his life. He is working , but cant afford detox , he has Kaiser but they will not work w him as he has failed the intensive OP program in the past. I think he is Bipolar and needs help w diagnosis also. He did quite drinking 2 yrs ago and was hospitalized from withdrawal with DTs so bad they had to tie him down. I’m begging for help, somewhere w a sliding scale or very low costs, he supports his fiancé and barely meets the bills. Please tell me there is hope and help for the not so poor , but desperate not to loose everything.
