Mission Statement

To share Christ’s unconditional and redemptive love by caring for immediate needs and enabling lasting solutions.

Description

City Teams Renew Program is a Christian faith-based long-term residential community that helps men with a history of drug and alcohol problems and/or homelessness. This program focuses on three main areas: spiritual direction, job-readiness, and whole-body wellness. Each man will engage in workshops and step work from the 12-step tradition to help him develop his character, prepare him to return to work, and live a healthier, sober and clean lifestyle. Residents are a part of a small group where they support each other through the program and each resident is assigned a case manager to address his immediate needs and work towards long-term solutions. The kitchen serves as a workshop for preparing men to return to the workforce as well as serving those in our community in desperate need. Their Learning Center helps residents engage in classes on job-readiness as well as GED preparation. They have an on-site nursing clinic where both insured and uninsured residents can receive medical care.Residents engage in Bible Study, 12-step meetings, and Church on Sundays. With community partners, they assist in the areas of housing, mental health needs, spiritual guidance, employment, acquiring a state ID or renewed drivers license, and other case management needs.

In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
